Individualized Career and Academic Plan (ICAP)
What is ICAP?
The term ICAP refers to both a process that helps students engage in academic and career development activities and a product that is created and maintained for students’ academic, career and personal advancement. The ICAP is an evolving document that reflects students’ changing passions, aptitudes, interests and growth.
Why is ICAP necessary?
It is a state mandated requirement for graduation in the state of Oklahoma. In May 2017, the Oklahoma State legislature passed legislation that introduces the concept of an Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP).
